Message from the CEO

With a deep commitment to enhancing pathology diagnostics that truly benefit patients, I founded N Lab in 2017 as a startup from Nagasaki University. Our name reflects our wish to share medical advancements from Nagasaki with the world.

In the early days, we focused on providing high-precision biomarker testing to support lung cancer treatment, contributing to both research and clinical practice. Now, we are entering a new phase. In addition to AI technology developed at Nagasaki University’s Department of Informatics Pathology, we have created our own digital pathology diagnostic system with a proprietary viewer. By integrating digital scanners, we aim to help pathologists adopt digital pathology and AI for more accurate diagnoses.

Japan has been slower to embrace digital pathology compared to the U.S., Europe, and China. Through innovation in this field, we hope to contribute to medical advancements and bring cutting-edge diagnostic technology to more patients. Moreover, we aspire to expand our original system to developing countries, where access to skilled pathologists can be limited. By improving the accuracy of pathology diagnostics worldwide, we hope to make high-quality medical care more accessible to all.

Thank you for your continued support.
