MIXTURE AI
At N Lab, we harness artificial intelligence (AI) and digital pathology to standardize and enhance the accuracy of pathology diagnostics.
• Support pathologists, not replace them: AI assists in decisions, but the final diagnosis remains in human hands
• Improve patient communication: Clearly explain findings with evidence-based AI support
At N Lab, we harness artificial intelligence (AI) and digital pathology to standardize and enhance the accuracy of pathology diagnostics. By implementing our solutions in medical institutions and research organizations, we improve pathologists’ workflows and support research initiatives.
In collaboration with Nagasaki University’s Department of Pathology Informatics and the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST), we are developing medical AI solutions using MIXTURE. Unlike conventional “black-box” AI, MIXTURE is a next-generation explainable AI (X-AI) methodology that builds models which can clarify their diagnostic process. By leveraging “white-box” AI models, pathologists can make more informed final diagnoses. X-AI enhances the precision of explanations given to patients, ensuring greater reliability and trust in medical decisions supported by AI.
